A Postmodern Holiday
December 5, 2022Since Scott Bradlee began Postmodern Jukebox out of a basement in Queens in 2011, his goal was simple: to remake the pop hits of today into the classic sounds of the legends of yesterday.
Ever since then, the project has grown to become a pop culture mainstay! Spinning modern hits into vintage tunes, Postmodern Jukebox introduces audiences around the world to some of the greatest singers, dancers, and musicians on the scene. You may recognize them from such viral arrangements as their 1950s bandstand version of Radiohead’s “Creep,” with over 105 million views on YouTube.
One part celebration of vintage music and culture, one part “’ Saturday Night Live’ for singers”, a Postmodern Jukebox show is an unforgettable trip back in time that makes Pop Music History — in your own hometown.
In this special seasonal performance, Postmodern Jukebox’s throwback styles shine through the already-nostalgic classics of the holiday season. Join Scott Bradlee and friends for renditions of all your favorites to get you in the holiday spirit!
Taking place on December 13, 2022, starting at 8 pm at Strathmore located at 5301 Tuckerman Ln. North Bethesda, MD
