Bring a Craving for Cocoa to the Ninth Annual McLean Chocolate Festival
January 7, 2020Chocolate lovers, listen up! You’re going to want to make sure you have this chocolate-filled day on your calendar: the 9th Annual McLean Chocolate Festival is coming back on January 26th at the McClean Community Center! If you’ve never been before, you’re in for a real treat, quite literally.
You can enter from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; admission is only $2, kiddos under 3 attend free, and proceeds support the local Rotary Club. Once you enter, you’ll be greeted by vendors selling all sorts of chocolate goodies for purchase, live music by bands like The Sunshine Gang and Trillium Trio, and even a demonstration on how chocolate was made in historic times! The full list of vendors is online, so you can check it out to see who will be there. If you’re headed there with kids, you’ll also want to check out the game room. There will be lots to explore and it only comes around once a year, so don’t miss it.
