Enjoy an Authentic Brauhaus Experience at The Bronson Bierhall
November 15, 2019When Bronson Bierhall opened in Ballston this August, it was owner Mike Corder’s goal for the restaurant to be completely up to speed by October, since autumn Oktoberfest celebrations are traditionally the time for German-inspired brewpubs to shine. Bronson Bierhall’s long communal tables, shareable soft pretzels and traditional sausages, and beers served by the liter all draw inspiration from the celebrated brauhaus of Bavaria, and the restaurant is going strong. Additionally, flat screen televisions and happy hour specials make Bierhall an American sportsbar, too.
That blend of American and German traditions is also reflected in the beer list, which features dozens of German and American craft beers on tap, and still more in cans and bottles. The bar and dining area is impressive in its own right, with 6000 square feet of space and a modern-rustic vibe. Regulars recommend the pierogis, the roasted Brussels sprouts, the lamb burger, and the pork schnitzel.
