August 23, 2019You don’t need an appointment (or any prior experience) to play artist at Clay Cafe Studios. The studio invites budding creatives to walk right in and get to work. If you come to paint, the first step is to find the piece you want to embellish. True to its name, Clay Cafe Studios boasts a large selection of ceramics to pick from, such as mugs, bowls, and figurines.
Spend a bit of time browsing to find the perfect art project. Once you land on an item, grab a seat and a few colors of paint, then start creating. You’re welcome to ask the staff for some guidance if you need inspiration. Once you’re done, they’ll take the piece and glaze and fire it for you, and you can come to pick it up in a few days. If you’d rather try your hand at glass-fusing, you can do that here, too. Again, you don’t need an artsy background to fuse glass. After a quick orientation, you’ll be able to get right down to business.
