Pay Your Respects to American Heroes at the Falls Church Memorial Day Festival & Parade
May 14, 2019Celebrate Memorial Day in Falls Church at the annual Falls Church Memorial Day Festival & Parade on Monday, May 27. This beloved yearly tradition is now in its 38th year, and it features a variety of activities held all day long throughout the area.
The Falls Church Memorial Day Festival & Parade kicks off at 9 a.m. with the Don Beyer Volvo 3K Fun Run, and music on the Main Stage runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to provide a soundtrack for the other activities. The children’s festival features rides, food and vendors from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and you can also embark on tours of the Cherry Hill Farmhouse from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pay your respects to America’s heroes at the Veteran’s Ceremony from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial, and don’t miss the main event at 2 p.m. when the Memorial Day Parade kicks off under the direction of Grand Marshal Rob Donovan.
