Spend Time Outdoors at Lincoln Park This Fall
October 25, 2017Lincoln Park may be small, but it has everything that a kid could want for a day of imagination and play. The park is conveniently located on the corner of Great Falls Street and Lincoln Avenue, and features the only themed playground in the city.
The Forrest area of playground equipment was renovated in 2013, and includes natural looking tree forts with slides and animal sculptures. It is a great place for kids to play and burn off energy, and also a magical little spot that encourages imaginative play. You can make a day of it and pack a picnic or use one of the on site grills for a quick lunch break amidst the trips to the swing set or sandbox. There are also plenty of park benches with good views of the playground and a small basketball court.
