Eventually, she was baking her signature iced sugar cookies for friends of friends, and then perfect strangers who had heard about her talent through the grapevine. So it only made sense to take Monster Cookie Co., her earliest business, and transform it into a fully operating, brick and mortar bakery—cue Village Sweet.
Dawn and her team use local, natural, and seasonal ingredients to create sweets in small batches. Their offerings change based on the time of year, but you can always expect artisan-style desserts. Savor treats such as blueberry-lemon scones with a raw sugar crust, lemon lavender pound cake, and Mexican brownies with chipotle, cinnamon, espresso ganache, and a touch of sea salt.
